The long-drive competition was just completed and Tedy Bruschi took the prize home with a 287-yard bomb, narrowly edging Tom Brady (281) and Wes Welker (275).

But the real star of the competition was Jarvis Green, who handled the play-by-play duties quite well. As Brady stepped to the tee, Green mentioned the quarterback “finally got here” and drew some laughs. Earlier, Sammy Morris shanked one, which Green immediately deemed “20 yards … first down!” Green’s quips continued throughout the competition and kept the gathering entertained.

Randy Moss did not let any rip in the competition but he was practicing down the end decked out in anything but traditional golf attire, wearing a long-sleeve striped rugby-type jersey with a bucket hat. He easily took the most prize for the most unique looking of all the Patriots players.
