Walkthrough and HOF reminder
Written by Erik Scalavino on July 31, 2008 – 4:36 pm -Our suspicions have been confirmed. The late afternoon session is indeed a pads-free walkthrough. And tomorrow is a day off, so the next significant action will take place over the weekend.
Also, we’ll be blogging from Canton, Ohio this weekend (starting Friday) as Andre Tippett gets inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Should be a fun trip.

Red Zone and goal line
Written by Erik Scalavino on July 31, 2008 – 10:25 am -Great play-action fake by Brady. He lobbed a nice pass over the head of Bryant to find Moss at the back of the end zone. 81 just barely missed running into the padded goalpost.
Brady had all day to throw on the following play, but overshot Jackson, who had shaken off Bryant on the left side of the end zone.
Cassel’s in now, just threw a TD strike to Gaffney right at the goal line.
O’Connell in. Quick out to Jones. Short gain.
Another short, over the middle pass to Dunlap.
Brady back in. Play-action fake, TD to Watson back of the zone.
Maroney 3-yd TD run over the left side.
Ty Warren, great burst into the backfield to bring down Morris for a loss.
Morris right side. 6-yd TD run, untouched. Good blocking.
Cassel in. Pass intended for rookie TE Jonathan Stupar, broken up nicely by Alexander.
Jordan right side, muscled his way in for the TD.

Full squad scrimmaging
Written by Erik Scalavino on July 31, 2008 – 10:12 am -Brady and the first O are back out there against the first D. He threw his first pass away because the coverage was too tight.
Mayo’s in the middle, with Bruschi, Alexander alternating at the other spot. Wheatley and Bryant are your corners.
Brady’s now taking a lap with Hochstein after a fumbled snap.
