Well, that’s pretty much all for today as the team is begining to wind down practice. I’ll be back tomorrow. There is only one scheduled practice (2:30-4:30) on Wednesday. Jabar Gaffney made a nice catch on a 15-yard out route, with Ellis Hobbs draped all over him. Ben Watson is reminding everyone not to forget about him as he’s having a great day catching the football and making plays down the field.

In the red zone drills Ben Watson just caught a short pass and ran right over Eugene Wilson as he turned it upfield. The drive was completed by Brady hitting Randy Moss across the middle of the end zone for a touchdown. In the goal line drills, Tedy Bruschi rejoined Adalius Thomas on the inside. It looks like the team is just trying to get Junior Seau some work on the inside and giving the veteran Bruschi a breather from time-to-time.

Ben Watson made a terrific diving catch in the middle of the field on a throw from Brady. Watson beat Adalius Thomas who actually had very good coverage on the play. By the way, Junior Seau and Thomas are still manning the inside during this drill.

Brady’s go-to receiver right now in camp is clearly Jabar Gaffney. The two can complete the out route pretty much any time they want to.

Reche Caldwell has reappeared. He just made a diving catch in between Tory James and James Sanders. Matt Cassel threw a pretty ball right where Caldwell was the only one who could come down with it. In this set, Tedy Bruschi is back inside along with Eric Alexander.
