In the biggest upset of the day, Tom Casale is not the man tooting his own horn more than anyone. That honor just has to go to NFLN’s Mike Mayock. The man just can’t keep patting himself on the back. He just raved about how he didn’t have any WRs ranked in the first round. Great. You’re right, Mike. But I do believe you had Rashard Mendenhall as the best back in the draft. That didn’t exactly pan out you blowhard. (For the record we tried to contact Mayock for a story for our last PFW issue and he blew us off. But that has absolutely nothing with this post.)
Mike, you know your stuff. You do a decent job as a poor man’s Mel Kiper. Stop telling us how great you are. If you get things right, we’ll notice. Geez.

listen to Casale act like he invented the entire conception that Antoine Cason should even be conceived by his parents is worse

I love how even if he gets the pick wrong he inmediately starts to say how much sense it makes to sound knowledgable.

Tom. should we be looking to trade up here for Groves? What’s the deal with him falling this far? Has he got some issues or something?

Pablo,
He just did it. He said the 49ers could go Dan Connor or WR and then they took the guard from USC and Mayock says, “They needed to updrade the interior of their offensive line.” Well, you didn’t say that 30 seconds ago.
Gick,
Eat it.

Ollie,
I was just saying that to Andy but apparently his heart problem has him slipping pretty far.

My understanding on Grove’s heart is that it’s a fairly common probably and didn’t require major surgery to fix.

What the hell is up with Sweed slipping? Is his wrist THAT bad?

Yup Mayock is annoying. I actually like ESPN’s coverage this year. It seems better than last year.
