Two receivers I don’t like

Two receivers I’m not high on are Purdue’s Dorian Bryant and Indiana’s James Hardy. I’ve seen these guys play a lot and while they put up gaudy numbers, they aren’t very physical. Both guys can be taken out of the game early when corners are physical with them. I think they will struggle at the next level.

Tom, who would you rather take at #7? Kenny Phillips or Mike Jenkins?

    Ben,
Neither. I like them both but not at seven. Besides, I think Arizona’s Antoine Cason is the best corner in the draft, so I certainly wouldn’t take another player at that position at seven. Plus, I don’t think the Pats will take another safety that high with Sanders and Meriweather both being young players.

Supposedly Kiper’s latest draft board has us taking Aqib Talib with the 7th pick. A CB like Cason…what do you like so much about Antoine, just out of curiosity…

And I can’t help but notice we haven’t heard anything about any standout LB’s in the draft this year…I’d think that’s what we’d REALLY be after.

Course, if we don’t pony up the cash for Samuel, we’ll be hurting in a lot of different defensive positions…some people might say we already are.

If one Randy Moss helped the patriots go undefeated and are on the cusp of winning another superbowl, imagine if we have 2 Randy Moss on the field. Back to back 19-0 seasons?

Any good 6-3/6-2 Wdeouts, a Chad Johnson clone or a Donald Driver clone would be nice.

Brant and Hardy how tall are they? Athletic and tall like Randy Moss? If so I say they would be great. If the patriots drafted a wideout that is just a bit shorter than moss but with his build and some jumping ability that pick would be a stud for sure, a stud that might help a team go undefeated and win a superbowl when he is past his 10 year veteran status.
