Moss settles on No. 81
Randy Moss has decided to wear the No. 81 as a New England Patriot. Moss had been wearing the No. 6 since he was acquired in April but had to make the switch because NFL rules state a receiver must display a number from 10-19 or 80-89. Jonathan Smith - who was recently released by the Patriots - had previously worn the number. Smith’s departure (He was claimed off waivers by Buffalo) set the stage for Moss’ new digits. It’s going to be a busy couple of days for the Patriots pro shop as fans line up to get their Moss jerseys.

Damn……….it’s about time he picked a number. Although I think he’s gonna revive his career and light it up this year, I won’t be rushing out to buy a jersey. I’ll save those for players I’m sure are gonna be around for a while, or it’ll have my name on the back of it. Speaking of which I guess its time for a new one to replace Dillon’s……….
