I thought Beason was a “smokescreen” by Patriots - he wasn’t high until Patriots talked about him, then all the copy cats started Beason on the rise.

All this draft talk is interesting but nobody really knows what is going to happen until the draft starts to unfold. Once we get the first 10 to 15 picks out of the way then we could start guessing what The Pat’s will do.

One guy thats under the radar and was in for a visit to Gillette is Stewart Bradley. He has Vrabel type size, is smart, has a good motor and can play the 3-4. Maybe a third rounder?

End of the 1st Round, the 28th pick, is too early to get LaMarr Woodley. Most ranking services have Woodley as the 40th to 50th ranked player. For example, NFLDRAFTSCOUT has Woodley at 45, a mid-second round pick. Woodley at 28 is a reach. If you meant him as an option, trading down into the second round to get him would be a better/more realistic option. There are other like DEs (Anthony Spencer, Charles Johnson, Ray McDonald) available of similar value to Woodley that will be likely be around in the 30th to 40th pick range that would make trading down for Woodley a low risk. Woodley scares me the same way as Branch in that is his talent his own, or, the fact that he was surrounded by so much NFL-caliber talent at Michigan.

I watched a lot of Michigan games this year and Prescott Burgess stuck out on more than one occassion although sometimes it seemed like he wasn’t on the field. I think he’s got what the Patriots are looking for in regards to size and I think he’s got good speed. He could be a great second day pick. Also, I’d love to see the Pat’s pick up Brian Leonard in the 3rd round (or move up to the 2nd). Any rumors about Anthony Gonzalez? My last statement: I’m hearing that Levi Brown may drop to the high teens. Any chance of the Patriots deciding to throw caution to the wind and going for him. I think they might see him as a significant upgrade at either Left or Right tackle.

I wasn’t sure which heading to post this under, but judging by all the protesting that Bill Polian has done about leaks from the pre-draft interviews of Calvin Johnson, Gaines Adams, and Amobi Akoye I can only come to one conclusion; Polian is the leaker.

Yes count Asante as gone like Ty Law
Let’s be real…
Let’s package some picks and WRs for Lance Briggs. Imagine the possibilities!
Also would like to entice Corey back for one ore ring.. he’d can still contribute as he did lasy tear.
I do not think Maroney can do it alone, and the backups are nothing to write home about, Fast, but fumbling, Faulk, injury prone . is Eddie George in shape fir a ring? Since we have Moss what about…..the guy from Miami (lol)
